After-hours care is available when clinically appropriate. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Grand Opening Contact Lens Fit Courtesy!
To celebrate the grand opening of Wellness EyeCare PLLC, we are waiving contact lens evaluation fees for all patients who already wear contact lenses.
Contact lens fittings are typically an additional fee due to the extra time and follow-up required
During our grand opening, this fee is completely waived
Your comprehensive eye exam ($200) continue to include vision evaluation (glasses prescription) and a full medical assessment of eye health.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why doesn’t Wellness EyeCare sell glasses?
This office focuses on eye examinations and providing accurate, unbiased glasses prescriptions. Patients are therefore free to take their prescription anywhere to find eyewear that fits their needs, style, and budget without any awkwardness.
Why doesn’t Wellness EyeCare accept insurance?
After careful consideration, we have chosen to offer fee-for-service eye examinations. The increasing complexity of today’s insurance system often takes time and attention away from the care your exam deserves.
By not participating with insurance plans, we are able to provide clear, simple pricing for everyone and focus fully on delivering thoughtful, personalized eye care centered on your long-term vision wellness without rushed visits, coverage limitations, or retail pressure.
Patients may submit receipts for out-of-network reimbursement or use Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA). We do not provide consultations regarding insurance billing or reimbursement.
Why do you request records from my previous eye exam?
Your eye history helps us protect your vision. At Wellness EyeCare, we request your most recent eye exam records before your visit so the doctor can provide the safest, most accurate, and most personalized care possible.
Track changes in your vision:
Your past prescriptions show how your vision has changed over time. This helps us understand what is normal for you and what may need closer attention.
Compare eye health findings:
Previous records may include eye health findings, eye pressure measurements, or other test results. Comparing these findings year to year helps us detect conditions such as glaucoma or retinal disease earlier.
Improve prescription accuracy:
Knowing your prior prescription helps avoid unnecessary changes, large jumps, or discomfort in new glasses or contact lenses.
Provide safe, continuous care:
If you’ve had eye surgery, injuries, specialty lenses, or medical eye treatments, this information guides the doctor in delivering safe, continuous care today.
